As you probably already noticed last week I released new pattern – Halter Ruffle Dress. It is a cute little dress for beautiful summer days!
The pattern includes sizes up to 5 years and works up pretty quickly.
I offer two ruffle options – small ruffle and long one. I couldn’t decide which one I like best, so I included both versions.
For the grey dress I used this yarn from Yarn Paradise, but for the cream dress you can pick any shade of this yarn Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton

Hi, I just started to make the Halter dress for 1-2 year old. I’m finding that the stitch count provided does not make sense after the first few rows (ie. the neck line has 14 flower buds instead of 11. And the other counts are also off. Is it just me??? I’ve crochets for many years so not sure what I’m doing wrong. Has anyone else experienced this?

Do you always follow the indicated number for the size you are making? The neck line for size 1-2 years should have 12 flower buds and not 11 or 14 – 10 are for 0-6months, and 14 for 3-5years. When working these leaves (buds) you should take care that next sc you work in NEXT stitches and doesn’t touch anymore the stitch you worked around.to shape the leave. Of course, if you make 14 leaves for size 1-2 years the rest of the pattern will be off as well. Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, please write me privately on Etsy or via email.
