New pattern – Lace Cowl!

IMG_5299Yesterday I released a pattern for this Lace cowl. I am so excited that Autumn is here and it means I can get out all my crochet scarves and cowls, and actually make many new ones. I think you can never have enough scarves, as with such little accessory you can transform, refresh and make more interesting any outfit. I like very much to wear my crochet cowls over same color basic knit sweaters or cardigans. At once it transforms the basic look into something much more interesting…

Though this cowl looks very delicate it worked up very quickly. I made mine in 3 days! And with two kids I can’t crochet that much, so it means someone who has more time can make it in no time. The pattern is fun to make and you don’t get bored. I included the pattern for the flower as well, and though you can sew it directly on the cowl, I would suggest to attach it to a hair clip. In this way, each time you are putting on your cowl you can play around with it is shape and attach the flower in a new way.

As always you can purchase the pattern on Etsy, Craftsy, Ravelry.

Happy crocheting!
