New pattern is up in stores! I had an idea to make baby shorts with suspenders for awhile. And I absolutely love how they turned out. I even wish I had a baby who could wear them (no, it is not an announcement, though I do admire parents who have more than two kids! You are my heroes!). But back to the pattern – it includes three sizes – 0-1, 3-6 and 9-12 months. You can make them a bit bigger if you use worsted weight yarn instead of DK weight. If you don’t want to use buttons, you can skip instructions for button loops and make the straps without them. Then you simply have to sew the straps on the front.
As always pattern is available on Etsy, Craftsy, Ravelry. You can still get it for special price on Craftsy and Ravelry!
Happy crocheting!
New pattern – Baby Shorts with Suspenders

I am working on the 3 tiered dress and am at a snag. On the back after the row 1 the next part says mark 25 central sts and join yarn in first marked st then repeat rows 2-10. My question is I am not sure where to join yarn. I marked the central stitch on the strap part. Do I attach my yarn there? or where? I hope I am making myself clear. I can’t start at the central stitch or I will run into the end of the strap designed for the shoulder and a button. I am confused. Thank you for your help.

Well, the answer is in your question! 🙂 As you wrote the pattern says: “mark 25 central sts and join yarn in first marked st”. So, that’s what you have to do. You mark 25 central sts, and you join the yarn into the FIRST MARKED st. For example, you have 47sts, so you mark central 25 and on each side for straps you will have 11 sts left, so it means you have to join in 12th sts from the end of strap. I hope this helps.
