Crochet for boys? Check out our new sweater pattern!featured

We all know that in the crochet world there is a very small choice of patterns for boys, especially for grown ups. It is the fact and probably there is little to do about it. But I do believe that you can make great masculine garments not only for babies but for big boys too.

What makes a great garment for boys? In my opinion it is a great fit, minimal amount of details, neat and simple design. That’s it.

My boy loves when I make him something, so I had a goal to create something new just for him. I got this beautiful shade of dark blue from Holst Garn and tried different options until I came up with this design. He loves it and it is the most important thing!

I used Holst Garn Coast yarn, and for our weather it is the best choice. It is a blend of wool and cotton, so it is not too hot, but it still keeps you warm.

The pattern is available on Etsy and Ravelry, and through this week you can get it for a special price (3.50$).
