I don’t know about you, but I am always excited for a new season, especially if it is Spring! And while getting ready for Spring is mainly about cleaning, reorganizing and getting rid of stuff we don’t need, and probably never needed, it also concerns our wardrobes. I love to switch seasons in my and my kid’s wardrobes! I always store away winter stuff, and get out our spring/summer clothes. It is also that time when you realize what you need and what you have to replace.
While with my wardrobe situation is more or less under control, it is much more difficult with kids. They grow so fast! My girl is getting taller and taller everyday. And my boy is getting bigger and more grown up too. So, most of the things I made last year just don’t fit them anymore.
With all that said, I made this new cardigan for my little girl. The yarn is lovely (I used Holst Garn Coast, Powder shade, 55%wool and 45%cotton, holding two strands together). The pattern includes two versions – with short sleeves and with long sleeves. It is such a fun pattern to work that I am sure, at the end, you will want to make both versions. It is worked top down, with no seams.
Today the pattern is still available for reduced priced in all Mon Petit Violon shops – Etsy, Ravelry and Craftsy.
Happy crocheting!
