As I told you before, this year I am trying to make many more items for us, ladies!

This cardigan is currently my favorite. The way it’s constructed provides perfect fit, it is worked top down so you can check the fit as you proceed. It is fitted around the chest, but flares down from the waist. It is open front, however, that’s optional.

But my favorite part about this pattern is combining two different yarns in an elegant way. I love hand dyed yarns, they are simply gorgeous! Those speckles just make me so happy. However, they are pricey. Especially for an adult garment. Yes, it might seem like cheating and being cheep, but it is not. I think it is just a creative way how to add a luxury touch to your garments without breaking the bank.

For my sample I combined Ophelia Italy Gioia yarn with Gransurr Skrantin yarn. Garnsurr yarn actually has a great story behind and it is really inspiring and I hope to buy more of their yarn in the future. You can read more about them here. And Ophelia yarns I know for some time  and I love them. Gioia is a beautiful yarn, comes in a  variety of colors and is so soft. Only yardage on the site is wrong, it is actually 140m per 50g ball. If you live in Europe you should try it.

The pattern is written for size S, M, L, XL and XXL, see the listings below for more details.

You can get the pattern on Etsy, Ravelry, Craftsy and LoveCrochet! As a bonus, on Etsy and Ravelry you can use THANKYOU coupon code for 20% discount!

Happy crocheting!
