In summer it can be challenging – what to crochet? I know there are people who don’t like to crochet in summer, I know there are some who don’t like to crochet with cotton. So, what to do? If it’s too hot to work with wool on big winter garments, my suggestion would be – make a dress! Almost everyone has a little girl in their lives who would appreciate a beautiful summer dress. It is a quick and pretty easy project to make. And yarn – well, there are so many options for beautiful summer yarns. If you don’t like to work with 100% cotton, check out cotton and acrylic blend yarns. I recently discovered Rico Designs, and they have some super soft and great summer yarns. If they are available in your area, check them out (not sponsored).
On top of all that, there is a new pattern for you as well. My Vanilla Dress pattern. Some of my testers said they never made a dress constructed this way. I don’t think I invented something new, however, it is a really fun way to make a dress. The fit is great, it is 100% seamless and easy to make too.
Pattern includes sizes newborn, 6-12m, 1-2y, 3-4y, 5-6y, but check out the listings for more details about the sizing.
