Today I have great news for you!
First of all, there is a GIVEAWAY on my Instagram account where you can win 3 Mon Petit Violon patterns. Follow the link and read instructions how to enter. I will pick three winners on Monday evening! 🙂
This week I released 3 new patterns! I dearly love each of them and I hope you will enjoy them as well.
The first one is for Jasmine Sweater. While initially the pattern was designed for children it includes a bonus – instructions for adult size S-M! You can achieve larger size too using slightly thicker yarn and/or bigger crochet hook!
Here is a child version and below you can see an adult version. For my size I used Drops Sky yarn and I am so happy I did. I did use this yarn in the past for some crochet projects and I loved it. This time was no different. It is absolutely great for sweaters. While you get an extremely warm and soft garment, it is super light! We all know that crochet garments do require much more yarn than knit garments and sometimes sweaters can turn out a bit heavy. Not in this case. The only cons was that it stretched out a bit too much and turned out longer than I would expect. But it is still great! So keep that in mind if you are going to use it too!
Second and third pattern is a set – hat and cowl – Favorite Cable Hat and Favorite Cable Cowl. The texture of both of them is extremely soft but at the same time pretty thick to protect you from cold and wind. The hat actually feels like a double layer hat and brim can be made in one layer or double, depends what fits you better! And it’s great for both – boys and girls!
The cowl is super versatile too! I personally like to wear it with similar colors, making it look like a part of my sweater. Turtleneck is super comfy! And it is great you can take it off if it gets too hot, which is not possible if you are wearing a warm turtleneck sweater. I don’t know if it’s just me, or it is a climate where I live, but every time I wear a heavy turtleneck sweater I begin to regret it a few hours later. 🙂
Here are all the links to the patterns!
Happy crocheting! And good luck with a giveaway!
