I can’t believe it is the last day of October already… Time is flying much faster than I would like. BUT… I am also very glad that Holiday season is getting closer and closer… Around this time of the year I am usually crocheting like crazy, there is a whirlwind of ideas in my head and I am always so excited to start (and to finish) new project…. So, the last two new patterns I released in October were Mint Cowl with a bow and Buttoned Hat and scarf set.
I had this beautiful King Cole yarn for a while and had a few options how to use it. It is so extremely soft that I thought it would be really nice to make a scarf. This pattern works up really quickly and the texture is very nice. For a bulkier look you can use worsted weight yarn instead – I will post more photos when I finish mine.
As always the pattern you can buy on Etsy, Craftsy, Ravelry.
Second pattern is for Buttoned Hat and scarf set. My little girl doesn’t like hats so I am always trying to make something interesting for her hoping she will like it. Well, this hat worked! The pattern I used for this hat makes very very soft texture and the buttons are very functional – you can wear them on the side for a modern twist, or you can turn them on the back and pass through the space between buttons ponytail or a bun! My girl quite often wears a ponytail and in cold weather it is an issue as no hat would fit her. Well, this hat solves it!
Pattern you can buy on Etsy, Craftsy and Ravelry.
Oh, and let me present you my new cute little model – Kate, she is my friend Marija’s daughter. Marija is an extremely talented lady and you will hear more about her very soon. In the mean time you can visit her shop on Etsy. The coat Kate is wearing on these photos is handmade by her mom! Sophie wanted to pose as well, but without hat…
