Fox / Wolf Hat Hoodie

This fall I see foxes everywhere and I love them! Someone said – fox is a new owl! Somehow I wasn’t really into the owl trend, though I made an Owl hat recently as well, as my little girl saw one (while watching Pinterest with me 🙂 ) and absolutely wanted one for herself. She was reminding me every five minutes about it, and next morning first thing she asked me was “where is my owl?”. At that point I knew there is no way I could escape and here is a result:

It is a knit look owl hat. Though I am not sure if I will write a pattern for it…

But back to fox – wolf story… it is a really easy pattern and you can play around with it using different colors, skipping the ears or adding something different. I think it will be great for Christmas as well – someone on Facebook page suggested that it would look cute in red with white trim. I am sure it would!

As always you can purchase the pattern here: Etsy, Craftsy, Ravelry! Only on Craftsy there is a special offer for one day – the pattern is available for 4$!

Thank you and happy crocheting!

  1. I love the owl hat, it’s gorgeous. You should definitely sell the pattern for it. I’d buy it!
In the meantime, I’m off to buy the wolf/fox hat pattern to add to my collection of your patterns. 😀

  2. What a wonderful hat! Not only can it serve as protection from the cold winter air, imagine how much more so can it stimulate fun, imaginative play amongst the little ones! My mind’s eye already sees a playground filled with bands of foxes at play!
