Hello in 2021! Let’s hope for a better year! No matter what’s going on in the world right now, I am very hopeful that from now on we can make our “normal” lives better than before. We learned a lot in 2020. Bad and good things. We were inspired and disappointed. I was. A lot. I know, it will take time (probably, a lot of time), but we need to make an effort to make it happen, right? We have to… Happy 2021!
Yesterday I released my newest pattern – Jacquard Sweater! I wanted to try something new and color changes don’t happen often in my designs. But when I got this yarn (it’s Schachenmayr Peach Cotton) in these two shades, I knew I have to combine them! Together they look a bit vintage and I love it.
Apart of the color changes, which I tried to make as simple as possible, pattern is pretty easy. I included some tips about color changes. In this sweater, like in some other my patterns, puff stitches are worked on the right side. Some of you, in the past, had an issue that, as you are used to work puffs and bobbles on the wrong side, you can’t make them stay on the right side. For this reason I recorded a video to show you my tip. You can see it here!
Back in December I released two other patterns I didn’t mention here on the blog. It is Peplum Sweater Dress and Bobble Sweater.
Peplum Sweater is actually nominated to be a pattern of the month on Love Crafts! If you have an account there I would appreciate if you could vote for my pattern (or any other pattern you think deserves it) here.
Thank you and happy crocheting!
