Mama Hexagon Sweater pattern is here!

Mama Hexagon Sweater, crochet pattern by Mon Petit Violon

NEW pattern (today for special price)! There were many requests for an adult Hexagon Sweater when I released it for children. And finally here it comes! I love how it turned out and find it very comfortable to wear as a top layer when it gets chilly.
The pattern includes sizes up to XXXL, however, due to its unusual shape it might not be very flattering on all XXL and XXXL body types. Below you will find some tips how to achieve the best result.
As it’s made in a hexagon shape the larger the size, the deeper V-neck will get. To adjust it you will need to make the neck edging wider, keep that in mind. As the V-neck is on both – back and front, I suggest to add a small strap on the back to prevent the sweater from slipping off the shoulders. Instructions how to do that are included.
For a better fit I suggest to work your stitches a bit loose so that they drape better. Avoid 100% acrylic yarn (especially for larger sizes) as you can’t really block it and it tends to be quite stiff and it will not drape as it should. To see the final result – wash and block the garment (especially the bottom edging).
I hope you will enjoy it!
Happy crocheting!
