  1. Hi! I just want to say I love your work!
I am just a beginner so I decided to try one of your free patterns first but I am stuck! I am making the Baby Moccasins and on the second page for the second row it says “2hdc with on top” I have no idea what this is. Can you help me out?
Thanks so much for these patterns 🙂

    1. it means 2 half double crochet

  2. Nvm I see where it explains it in the pattern.. not sure how I missed it.

    Thanks again 🙂

  3. Some of the prettiest baby booties I,have ever seen.

  4. Very cute, thank you for sharing 🙂

  5. Working on the Baby Moccasins pattern and got through the Sole and first part of Upper portion (after fastening off). I’m not exactly sure where “work in centremost 7 st” is even though the pattern states it’s exactly between two “2 hdc with one top.” Would love your feedback! 🙂 Thank you.

    1. Those are 7 centremost stitches of the front – when you look at your bootie from the front you should find 7 centremost stitches and begin to work in the furthest to the right. Hope this helps. Best wishes!

  7. Thank you for the lovely mocassin pattern. I have done the sole, coming to the upper body of the mocassin and got stuck there. I did the Hdc for row 1, and wonder if I have miscalculated the stitch count, with the 2 slip stitches, the stitch count would be more than the “7 centre most stitches”. I countinued to work on row 2-4, and the 2 corners of the 7 centre most stitches stick up, it’s not as smooth as shown in your photo. Please help. Thank you 😀

  8. I am not able to find the pattern for Baby Mocassins, it says there is a free pattern but I can’t seem to find it.

    1. Did you try to click on the photo of Baby Moccasins? If you do, you will be redirected to the pattern.

  14. Lovely unique patterns. I will be doing a lot of crochet gifts. Thanks !!

  15. Just learning to crochet and downloaded your moccasins pattern. I decided to try it because I thought it had a good variety of stitches to practice. I finished one shoe in about 4 hrs, which I feel was pretty good for a first attempt at crocheting. I did the other one in 2hrs last night but my tension was all over the place so I’ve had to start again. They are so cute and I’m finding your pattern really easy to follow, thanks for providing it and especially for making it free.

  16. I’m wondering where you got your yarn to make the Simply Cute Booties? I love the colors and the variegations!

  21. Hi Vita! Am trying your free baby coat (buttoned jacket) pattern before I launch into something more complicated! I am stuck in one area though: I just finished the yoke section and am in 1st row of body, cannot figure out what chain 5, skip (ch1 and next 28 dc), sc in each of next 46, etc…means? I chain five but then skip what? surely not 28 dc? Sorry Im sure am just not reaing this right…would so apprecaite your feedback as I love the little coat!
    Thanks! Marta

    1. Hello,

You have to skip what is in parenthesis. But pay attention that you have to skip 24 or 26 dc, not sts, but dc.
Ch5 will be an underarm, and all the skipped sts will shape an armhole. You work it all in continues row and all ch worked for underarms will count as sts in next row.

      Hope this helps.
      Vita

  22. Thanks so much Vita! Silly me! AS you can probably tell this is my first jacket (I crochet baby blankets usually) so I didn’t get how skipping 28 Dcs would work. Followed your instructions and MAGIC, starting to look like the picture! So excited! Hopefully can then graduate to some of your other gorgeous patterns. So nice of you to repond so quickly. Best, Marta
